I was inspired by Steve Jobs movie when i saw that this game was created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. I was intrigued and wanted to create this game too. For this I didn't use the usual game development tools like Python or Java becaouse i was learning javascript at that time. I used ELECTRONJS to convert it to a deskstop app which works across windows,mac and linux.
This was my first project which had authentication multiple pages, client side rendering using react, design fundamentals. I used firebase for the backend and firestore for the database. I used react-router for routing and materialize css for the design. I also used react hooks for the first time in this project. I used loading animations which are super cool signup and see for Yourself !!
I built this when i was learning about APIs. This i s simple webapp which sends a request to the API and fetches the data and displays it on the screen. I used the OMDB API for this project.
For making this game I used a different approach which was more difficult and i learned my lesson. I used actual html tags and game elements. This made me want to pick up python and other game development tools for simple games but i was more interested in web development so i continued with that.
I created this theme when i was learning about VS code themes. I wanted to create a theme which was dark and had a good contrast. I used the theme in my own VS code and it was very helpful. I also published it on the marketplace for others to use. It has been downloaded more than 300 times. I am very happy with the response.
These projects were my gateway to the world of github and the endless possibilities of web development. I created these projects when i was learning about html, css and javascript. I was very excited to see my projects on the internet and i wanted to share them with the world. I am very proud of these projects because they were my first projects and they were the stepping stones to my web development journey.
I am Affan, from Pune (Oxford of East) currently in FY B.Tech. Since my childhood, I have been a big fan of technology, and one day I read the book "Steve Jobs" and went down the rabbit hole. Inevitably I started surfing the internet to do anything that interested me and taking advantage of the pandemic I was deep down into courses, tutorials and through these I learned web development and programming fundamentals to the point where coding became my adrenaline. This is what I truly enjoy. Hoping to learn more and contribute towards innovative idea/solutions. Besides, I am a avid football player, Lionel Messi fan and food loving person!!!
